Earlier this month, Tressl officially graduated from the Creative Destruction Lab Energy Stream (CDL-Rockies) - a highly competitive and mentor-driven program for science- and technology-based ventures.
Our team wrapped up Session 4 energized, inspired, and laser-focused after participating in four intensive sessions with world-class mentors. The program challenged us to think bigger, move faster, and sharpen our business model for even greater impact across the energy and infrastructure sectors.
“We came into CDL with a bold vision and left with greater clarity, validation, and an incredible network of champions,” said Joel Edwards, Tressl’s CEO & Founder.
Mentors like Martin Molyneaux, Gary Griffith, Scott Saxberg, Mike Backus, Jim Stannard, and John Zagula were instrumental in offering candid feedback, refining our go-to-market approach, and pushing us toward strategic clarity.
A standout moment from Session 4: after a dynamic 1:1 between Scott Saxberg and CDL alumni Shawn Martens (IronSight), Joel Edwards was invited to open the venture pitches, moderated by Alice Reimer, with a bold vision for Tressl’s future. The response was electric, with a record-breaking show of hands from mentors, associates, and guests expressing interest in continuing investment conversations.
Our team is walking away from CDL with more than just a graduation. We’ve gained momentum, refined our focus, and built a powerful community of supporters who share our vision to transform how land and infrastructure projects are managed.
To the entire CDL-Rockies team and mentor community - thank you. You’ve helped shape the future of Tressl, and we’re just getting started.
